Of course, our guests in the Cocoon also enjoy the many Alpenrose extras at no additional charge, with all-day pampering in the Cocoon restaurant, including soft drinks, wellness, swimming and relaxation in an area spanning 8,000 square metres, supervised indoor and outdoor sports programme, free rental of sports equipment, lively evening entertainment and an extensive children’s programme including all-day care.

In addition to our all-inclusive services, a dedicated Cocoon receptionist ensures that all our guests’ wishes are fulfilled throughout the day.

Each of our suites is a luxurious cocoon of security and happiness. The features of the 80 to 140 m² Cocoon Spa suites include an infrared sauna, two bedrooms, each with separate access to the bathroom with bathtub and shower (additional toilet& bidet), a comfortable seating area with suspended stove, a chill lounge, a large terrace and many other feel-good elements. All suites are clad in old Austrian oak, the best option for using wood in luxurious surroundings.

A new type of room heating system ensures a pleasant indoor climate, guaranteeing your desired temperature by means of cool or warm fresh air, without any noise and annoying drafts.

Wine – A theme close to our hearts.

Our sommelier, Julia, has selected the finest tastes from Austria and the entire wine world for our tasteful wine cellar. She ensures the ideal storage and temperature of approximately 1000 bottles in the Alpenrose sensory workshop and will be happy to advise you so that you can enjoy your perfect tipple. This new workshop at the Cocoon is a masterpiece of Tyrolean carpentry that will leave you astounded.<br/> <br/> We also offer a selection of high-proof specialities alongside our fine wines. A smoky whisky, a perfectly matured cognac or an original Tyrolean schnapps of the highest quality and purity is the perfect way to bring the Alpenrose evening to a close in our 400-year-old original Zillertal farmhouse room or the Rondo Bar.

Once a week, our sommelier extends an invitation to join her in our Sensory Workshop, where you can discover the sensuous secrets of the world of wine and become a wine specialist yourself through expert instruction on how to enjoy wine to the full. As part of this special “vintage”, we have created the limited edition Cocoon wine for you, in conjunction with the wine manufacturer Clemens Strobl in Wagram. You can find this limited edition in our wine shop and take it home with you. A total pleasure.

You can find many of the most beautiful paintings and artefacts from the period of the Austrian Renaissance alongside Tyrolean folk art throughout the Alpenrose. Portraits by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, motifs from Kaiser Maximilian’s hunting book or antique Tyrolean craftsmanship in the public rooms.
